Air Conditioning

The company has been involved with air conditioning to compliment its traditional  heating services for some years but has realised the need to specialise in this field. We now offer a wide range of in-house air conditioning services from our base near Norwich, Norfolk all being overseen by our own air conditioning applications engineer with over 15 years trade experience.

Refrigerant based air conditioning design, installation & maintenance covering many types of systems can be offered including:

  • Electric Heat Pump Split
  • Heat Pump Multi Split
  • VRF Heat Recovery Heating & Cooling
  • VRF Heat Pump Heating & Cooling
  • Routine maintenance to comply with FGAS Regulations
  • R22 phase out assistance

Design & Installation

Specialist heat load & loss calculation software is used for assessing the room or buildings heating or cooling requirement then appropriately sized and type of air conditioning system(s) are then selected from a range of manufacturers such as Toshiba, Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin.

Once equipment has been selected and where appropriate (such as with VRF systems) we can produce schematics of the complete system layouts, for the major manufacturers above, showing pipework and cabling sizing. This in conjunction with other CAD drawings are handed to our on-site qualified engineers for reference making sure that the installation process runs as smooth as possible.

On completion of any project we will provide hand over information necessary to form part of the Building Manual as required, together with a maintenance package to offer to the end user.

Based near Norwich in Norfolk we are able to offer sales, routine maintenance and installation throughout East Anglia as well as nationally across the UK.

Maintenance

The need to look after your equipment is ever more relevant when trying to keep the running costs down. Poorly maintained equipment can increase electricity usage as the internal and external coils get blocked over a relatively short time period causing the systems to work harder to achieve the same amount of output.

Bacteria, pollen and other forms of dust can build up inside the indoor units picked up from the re-circulated air and this can collect on the filters and in the condensate drain causing them to leak and smell over time.

Refrigerant based systems are also subject to certain regulations (F-Gas & R22 phaseout) which are aimed at reducing the amount of ozone depleting refrigerants and the potential for refrigerant leakage. Regular maintenance by qualified air conditioning engineers supported by the correct paperwork will ensure you are doing your best to comply.
